Apple’s iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models today entered the Chinese market amid heavy demand with its pre-orders in jet-black colour being already sold out. The first Apple customers in New York City to snap the new iPhone 7 off the shelves cheered as they entered its flagship store on Friday (September 16), flanked by applauding sales staff. Earlier this week it issued a statement saying that all iPhone 7 Plus versions and the Jet Black iPhone 7 sold out quickly after going up for pre-order – and they will not be available to walk-in customers, as a result. The iPhone 7 and all iPhone 7 Plus features improved cameras and without the traditional headphone jack in favor of new technology.
The iPhone 7, which is 4.7-inches has a base price of $649, while the iPhone 7 Plus, which is 5.5-inches in size starts at a price of $769.

On Wednesday, Apple announced they are sold out of all iPhone 7 Plus models and the iPhone 7 in jet black, with no inventory left for stores. Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said in a statement that they appreciate their customers’ patience, and that the company is now working to get the new phones out for everyone who wants one as fast as they can.
