IPhone 7 Rumors: Leaked Component Surfaces On Weibo, Includes Headphone Jack Port
Hence, the rumour mill is consistently spilling beans on its purported features. The site notes that it’s not sure whether the same circuitry will be used for the iPhone 7 Plus, so it’s possible that Apple’s phablet could still ditch the headphone jack, but we can’t see any logic to one phone doing it and the other not. However, the latest leaked photo debunks the rumour as it shows the presence of an audio jack.

The original images (left side in this comparisons) were posted on Chinese social network Weibo, so they’re far from official. For the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus (rumored to be rebranded as iPhone Pro), the battery is a massive 2810mAh battery, at least in Apple’s standard. Both have parts that correspond to the headphone jack port and the Lightning port.
Among the many features being discussed about the Apple iPhone 7, one that has stirred up discussions is the headphone jack.
Yet before the iPhone 7 will touchdown, supply chain updates from Asia indicate that as part of the soon-to-start mass production for the next iPhone Apple has make adjustments on the production and shipment levels of the iPhone SE and 6S.

In addition to this, the axing of 3.5 mm audio jack hints that the iPhone 7 would be sporting a waterproof body. It revealed that the smartphone houses a dual camera setup on its rear panel. Those who spent a lot of money on expensive headphones, for example, wouldn’t be able to use the iPhone 7 to listen to music without an adapter, which is less than ideal. The Apple iPhone 7 is also speculated to launch with a starting price of $649 (AU$866). But Mayo also mentions that this strategy “does not sound very “Appley”, as Apple tends to keep technologies consistent across iPhone lineups.
