In the middle of production cut reports, statements have also resurfaced where the Cupertino, California-based company is reportedly going to start the production of iPhones in India as early as April this year.

Yet Japan makes only 10 percent of the global market for Apple, and even a huge demand for iPhone 7 in Japan is not sufficient to cover the slow demand all over the world.
It’s said that the star of the show in 2017 will be a 5.8-inch iPhone 8 model with a host of new features, a new design, and more.
Apple is working on a larger display version of the iPhone 8, and it looks like there will be three different sizes for this phone. The 5.8-inch AMOLED displays will initially be produced in minimal quantities starting March, and production will be ramped up post May-June.
Unsurprisingly, AAPL is yet to reveal the slightest details about its forthcoming smartphone project officially, but that hasn’t deterred rumors from envisioning what the 2017 iPhone model could be all about. Raymond James Financial, Inc. reaffirmed an “outperform” rating on shares of Apple in a research report on Thursday, December 22nd. The supply chain sources estimated the bigger iPhone at 60 to 70 million units.

According to the Korean media, Apple has already placed a huge order with Samsung to produce curved plastic OLED displays in numbers that run into millions. And that will come with a display size of 5.8 inches with AMOLED panel display. This speculation arises after Apple, Google and Microsoft allegedly plan to acquire the foldable OLED display component from LG. With its rumored 5-inch display, the iPhone 8 is believed to be wide enough to feature a vertical dual camera, which could essentially rival the specs in far more expensive DSLR cameras. Furthermore, Apple is finalizing the designs of the smartphone, and the work is in the final stage. It was the industry’s fastest growth rate for a year, and the firm expected a higher growth rate for the rest of 2016 than originally forecast.
