Apple has launched the iPhone 7 at a special event in San Francisco.

Apple may be setting the stage for a dramatically different iPhone model to debut next year on the 10th anniversary of the smartphone first introduced in 2007, Bajarin reasoned.
The most significant of these new features is arguably the improved S2 microprocessor.
The Jet Black iPhone 7, as it appears, is glossy and since it’s only available in the 128GB and 256GB models, the cost is comparatively higher than the other one.
The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, announced today and available this month, have a range of new capabilities. In India, the iPhone 7 will be available from 7 October, starting from INR 60,000 (32GB version).
In a move that mirrors what Apple did with the trackpad on last year’s Macbook Pro and new Macbook, the iPhone 7 home button is non-mechanical, pressure sensitive and provides taptic feedback when you press it.
Each has a 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation, a six-layer lens and an aperature enlarged to f/1.8.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 7, which starts at $649, and the beefier iPhone 7 Plus, which starts at $769.
Both the iPhones come with new stereo speakers and for the first time Apple has positoned them on front.
“Fill in your archaic headphone connector with attractive aluminium and plug yourself into the future”. Also included is a Lightning to 3.5mm audio adapter so that people can still use older earphones.
The new wireless headphones called AirPods [with a microphone] have infrared sensors that detect when they’re in your ear and only play then. Let’s see if Apple’s AirPods overcomes the compromises seen with most of the wireless headsets or earphones. The iPhone 7 offers Bluetooth too, so if you want to keep the Lightning port free for charging, there’s nothing to stop you using a regular pair of Bluetooth headphones.
They also include a new W1 chip, which enables AirPods to deliver high-quality audio and industry-leading battery life in a completely wireless design. If you were watching the keynote presentation live, you’d know what a lovely and useful reinvention these wireless AirPods are.
iPhone 7 features a 4.7-inch display with 3D touch, while iPhone 7 Plus has a 5.5-inch Retina HD display with 3D touch. The new processor features two high performance cores and two high efficiency cores for a longer battery life.

As expected, Apple also debuted Apple Watch Series 2, with built in Global Positioning System and is waterproof, allowing users to hike or swim with the device.
