The equation is simple as the victor takes it all!
Royal Challengers Bangalore have won the toss and have no hesitation in putting Delhi Daredevils into bat. DD and RCB are both 14 points each, but the latter team leads the race when it comes to net run-rate.
With three wins on the trot, Bangalore have become a team to beat as the season enters it’s final stretch. RCB Captain Virat Kohli is in the form of his life, notching up a Bradmanesque average in T20s this year. Stopping Kohli first, and then AB de Villiers, will be the two biggest challenges for the Daredevils.
Zaheer Khan’s men have been inconsistent but they still somehow managed to keep themselves in contention and will hope to pull the rug from under the feet of RCB one more time like they did on April 17. The Delhi right-hander has not only smashed four tons to score 865 runs from 13 matches this edition but also surpassed Suresh Raina to be the highest run-getter in the lucrative tournament.
On the other hand, Zaheer Khan’s side has been blowing hot and cold. But inconsistency has bogged down their cause in many instances.

A last-ball victory on Friday against Sunrisers Hyderabad might have given them two crucial points but that hasn’t changed their position -Daredevils continue to be at No. 6 and are up against the seemingly unstoppable Royal Challengers Bangalore in a do-or-die game on Sunday at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Stadium in Naya Raipur.
