Iran releases images of new missile defence system
President Rouhani addressed the ceremony to mark National Day of the Defense Industry where he believed that Iran had not been seeking chemical weapons, an allegation by the world of imperialism which was belied by Iran’s purity in the case of PMD when a historic visit by Amano to Iran’s nuclear facilities exculpate Iran of all allegations made; “despite pressures and sanctions, we have been triumphant in the case and now the worldwide community faces a verdict by the IAEA that closed Iran’s case for the time being”, he rejoiced to tell the ceremony.

The engine dubbed Ouj is fully designed and manufactured by Iranian experts, the countyr’s Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said in the ceremony, Iran’s state-run IRINN TV reported.
Since last year’s signing of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the deal which saw western nations provide Tehran with sanctions relief in exchange for placing limits on its nuclear program, parts of the S-300 have reportedly been delivered, however it is not believed to be operational in the country.
“We did not intend to make an Iranian version of the S-300 – we wanted to build an Iranian system, and we built it”, Dehghan told the IRNA news agency over the weekend.
An Iranian military truck carries parts of the S-300 missile system during the Army Day parade in Tehran on April 17, 2015.
“If we are able to discuss with world powers around the negotiating table, it is because of our national strength, because of our national unity”, the Iranian president said.
According to Rouhani, the defense budget this year is double that of the previous year.
He added that Iran is now among the eight countries that own the technology for designing and manufacturing these engines.
In 2015, shortly before the conclusion of an worldwide agreement on the nuclear program, Moscow re-authorized the delivery of the S-300 system in a move criticized by the United States and Israel.
Hassan Rouhani also observed the latest achievements and developments in these strategic arenas including design and construction phases of the first national turbojet aircraft.
Iran’s army and defense experts “will continue the trend of increasing the power and enhancing the precision striking and the destructive power of our missiles”, the statement said.
