Iranian deal or no deal
In the original draft, the US Congress was entitled “to reauthorize all [Iran-related] statutory provisions that would otherwise expire… including the Iran Sanctions Act”.

The agreement has been hotly debated among all citizens and politicians alike, but on September 17 this year, 42 Democratic senators blocked a vote on a Resolution of Disapproval that ended the entrenched legislative battle.
Most centered around one issue: the proposed nuclear deal with Iran. Those studying Persian with funding from the State Department have had to take courses in Tajikistan, a Central Asian state with a cultural connection to Iran.
“To make the Iran deal political is irresponsible”, Cain says.
Under current policy, taxpayers can’t receive foreign tax credits for business done within the country and shareholders are taxed for any income earned there. Just this week, Khamenei announced that he hopes “the Zionist regime” – Israel – will be gone in the next 25 years.
The Obama administration has designated October. 18 as Adoption Day and Iran is expected begin the removal of thousands of centrifuges to scale back its nuclear infrastructure.
The question is how much more anti-Semitic and anti-American statements will the supreme autocrat, ayatollah Khamenei, make if he actually receives the over 100 billion dollars, and has UNSC sanctions and the arms embargo lifted?
Nevertheless, they both support the president’s nuclear alliance with Iran. The United States would lose, not improve, its leverage.
Under the agreement, which was negotiated by the USA, Britain, China, France, Germany, and Russian Federation, Iran is to gain some relief from sanctions in exchange for greater global oversight, and new restrictions, on its nuclear program. We must ensure that our representatives hold Iran to every letter of this deal. Their leaders have chanted “Death to America”, called for the destruction of our close ally, Israel, and are actively engaged in financing terrorism.
The president’s nuclear deal requires us to trust Iran, despite its proven track record of deceit and belligerence. We have a strict, peaceful deal with Iran that still removes some of the burdensome sanctions, and it is imperative that it passes. Needless to say, these initiatives were warmly welcomed by Iran.
Recently, I voted for legislation that prohibits the president from suspending or limiting the sanctions that Congress has strategically placed on Iran, and restricts the White House from removing the risky foreign terrorists listed within the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed in Vienna.
He added: “Next year I would love to lead a proper, economic and trade delegation to Iran”.
The core problem is this: Iran can not be trusted. John McCain, R-Arizona, claims the Iran nuclear deal will, first, enable Iran to build a nuclear weapon, and, second, expand its influence in the Middle East. He emphasizes past Iranian violence against Americans and conflates Iranian regional influence with the expansion of the so-called Islamic State and Al-Qaeda.
