Devos was pumped for a Paralympic title at Rio 2016, braving his way through to Gold without dropping a single game throughout the tournament.

The Nigeria captain started off with a successful lift at 136.0kg, which then became a new Paralympic Record and World Record as well. Latifat Tijani and Esther Onyema won Silver medals respectively.

Her first throw of 7.83m, saw her break her world record of 7.72m, set at the 2015 IPC World Athletics Championships in Doha.
