“And does the player want to come to Arsenal? When will Aaron Ramsey finally stop gambling with his career?”
Ramsey dropped to the ground and it immediately flashed up that given his injury concerns from the past, that a bit of magic spray wasn’t going to cut it. Ramsey was taken off before Iwobi joined him on the treatment table minutes later. Are Arsenal still the first choice in England?
Aaron Ramsey suffered a hamstring injury in season’s first game.
Although Ramsey had that horror injury at Stoke six years ago, he has not had a major problem since.
Earlier Arsene Wenger pointed to the fact Ramsey had gone quite some distance in the European Championships as a factor, saying, “You are in a Catch-22 situation with the Euros – do you give the players a rest and start the season without many of your players?”
Thierry Henry said after Leicester City’s first game in the EPL: “My dream is to see Mahrez with Arsenal’s jersey this summer”. he told Sky Sports.
The Arsenal boss admits he “pushed Ramsey in” against Liverpool, arguing it is hard to to gauge exactly when to pick players who were involved in the closing stages in the Euros.
