Is Apple finally going to start tweeting?
Earlier the company launched its support account on twitter.

The timing of the verification is interesting, too.
Apple’s next big event comes September 7, when it’s expected to unveil new iPhones and an updated Apple Watch.
Apple has not tweeted a single thing from the account till date, but has seen a rapid rise in followers since the account got verified recently.
Gizmodo Australia is gobbling up the news in a different timezone, so check them out if you need another Giz fix. The ad, which does not appear on the profile’s timeline, states the details of the upcoming event, including the date and a link to Apple’s livestream.
Apple is finally breathing life into its long-dormant Twitter account, and has even posted a tweet. That’s because promoted tweets can be hidden from a user’s timeline. This sent the twitterverse into a frenzy.
That still doesn’t fully explain why Apple hasn’t used its Twitter account for so many years. A notable aspect is that the account now features a profile picture in the form of the Apple logo.
This is further proof the company recognizes the value of Twitter when it comes to building relationships with its customers.
Is it also possible that both Apple and Twitter are drawing attention to the account because the two firms are planning some sort of collaboration? Apple is going to launch its latest iPhone at its event in three days. Let us know in the comments.
Despite no signs of activity, Apple fanboys (and girls) have already flocked to the account, which now has over 200,000 followers.
