Is Game of Thrones Starting To Fix Its Woman Problem?
As for spoilers for Season 6 of Game of Thrones, we’ve had a few that are related to Sansa Stark. With an honorable nature that rivals Ned Stark’s, a sense of loyalty that reveals her true Hufflepuff temperament, and a badass fighting style, here are five reasons Brienne is the best character on Game of Thrones.

When she pledges her oath to Sansa and lays her sword down for her, I found it very touching. Thankfully, Sunday night’s season six premiere “The Red Woman” was a girl-power heavy episode that seemed to indicate that the show would be moving away from graphic depictions of sexual violence that have little objective aside from shock value.
Actress Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on “Game of Thrones”, feels her co-star Kit Harington spends too much time in front of the mirror tending to his curly hair.
“I’m just as bewildered as the next person as to where Theon or Reek is going to go”, Allen admits, “but I can tell you for one thing there’s definitely going to be a lot more cameos from real movie stars”.
Sansa Stark now has a highly capable and loyal warrior at her side, one who carries a small piece of her dead father’s legacy.
According to Turner, this is “quite a season for revenge”. But when he’s asked whether to burn or bury her, he says to feed her to the dogs.
“At first, it was just kind of like she’s very much driven by just wanting to survive and see her family again”, Sophie said. “It’s just regurgitating other people’s opinions to please people, basically”. Other men exert their energy all at once in an attempt to defeat her quickly – their pride encourages them to prove that men are better fighters than women – allowing Brienne to showcase endurance, strength, and discipline by outlasting them in battle. Its about her trying to make people listen.
“I’ve always seen Maisie as this rebellious, cool kid, while I’m more passive-aggressive, or else just passive”, says Sophie. “He’s a master manipulator, who knows exactly how to get what he wants”, Turner said.
Speaking of her sister, Arya (Maisie Williams) is having a pretty awful time in Braavos.
Next came the answer to Sansa and Theon’s jump off the castle wall, as they raced through the broad, frozen terrain of the North with Ramsay’s hounds baying for their blood.
The British beauty also talked about the effect media training had on her in interviews. “That’s where her head’s at right now”, Turner said. “I go back and forth with that”.
