Hugh Jackman waves to the crowd during the round 23 AFL match between the Richmond Tigers and the North Melbourne Kangaroos at Etihad Stadium on September 4, 2015 in Melbourne, Australia. Several sequels have already been made throughout the years which means several actors have played the role of British Secret Service agent James Bond. Talking to The Times, he admitted that he loved the small roles he was able to play, but explained, “I can’t just jump into roles that are too big for me”. His answer was, “I’d seriously consider it.”

There has been tremendous interest as to who will be the next James Bond since current Bond actor Daniel Craig hinted that the upcoming Spectre will be his final film for the franchise. “As much as I possibly can without treading on toes, although you have to offend some people sometimes to move on, ” he said when asked how involved he gets.

And not only is Daniel Craig showing he’s every bit as dapper as previous Bonds like Sean Connery and Roger Moore, he’s also a pioneer in another area.

Apparently, Wolverine had been offered the role back in 2002 when he was filming “X-Men 2” but he ultimately turned it down.

There has actually been a bit of a controversy when Bond creator Anthony Horowitz commented that Elba would be “too street” to play Bond, although he clarified that it was not a racial issue.

He said: ‘Hopefully my Bond is not as sexist and misogynistic as (earlier incarnations). He later took to Instagram and joked, “Always Keep Smiling!!”

Some suggested Idris Elba would best replace Craig, while others said that Tom Hardy would make a ideal choice.
