In danger of losing their franchise superstar Tim Duncan to retirement, the San Antonio Spurs may have also lost another fan favorite big man to free agency.

ESPN reports the Spurs won’t match Detroit’s offer sheet.

Marjanovic has just one season of National Basketball Association experience, appearing in 54 games for the Spurs last season but he was effective in limited action averaging 5.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in less than ten minutes per game.

Free agent center Dewayne Dedmon has agreed to a two-year, $6 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs, league sources tell The Vertical.

Marjanovic has a very soft touch, as evidenced by the fact that he shot 76.3 percent from the free-throw line.
