“I don’t believe he’s gonna be the nominee, but I do think Donald has energized and excited a whole lot of people”, said Ted Cruz, (R) Presidential Candidate.

Cruz had the support of 17 percent of likely Republican voters, behind Donald Trump, who remained the front runner with support of 31 percent of respondents in the five-day rolling poll. “That’s why I fought so hard to defeat President Obama and the Republican establishment’s Gang of 8 amnesty plan”, Cruz said in the direct-to-camera spot.
“He supports legalizing people that are here illegally”, Rubio said.
In his response, Rubio was cautious about discussing the program and suggested Cruz revealed classified information.
During the fifth GOP debate Tuesday night, Rubio fended off more attacks than ever, including jabs from Sen.
“I’ll tell you, the enthusiasm that we are seeing all across the country is really breathtaking”, Cruz said.

The event attracted more than 1,000 Cruz supporters, who packed a frigid airport hangar that also featured a wandering Santa Claus and speeches by two former presidential candidates from Georgia: Bob Barr and Herman Cain. In fact, at the time, Cruz said he was doing it to show he could be reasonable and compromise.
“But, at the same time, we need to remember that many of those coming here are coming to feed their families, to have a chance at a better life”, he added.
Rubio, who previously emphasized criticism of Cruz’s national security positions, said his rival’s repeated attacks on immigration left him little choice but to examine the Texan’s record on the issue.
