Assange is still living at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he sought asylum in 2012 after facing extradition to Sweden over allegations of sexual assault. “We’re really good at this. He’s playing that game, I understand”. “We have a 10 year flawless record of never having gotten it wrong”. If anyone knows what United States intelligence agencies know, he knows.
Assange didn’t directly address the Russian Federation allegation and said the Democratic Party is ultimately to blame.
The host asked the whistleblower if it was fair to attack the only person standing against Trump’s presidency, while suggesting the release of the hacked emails was made in favor of Russian Federation, whose rumored inclination towards Trump has been used by the democrats against him. “But their hostility to even modest curation is a mistake”, he said in a tweet, in reference to Wikileaks’ disinterest in editing any of their leaked documents, even those that reveal sensitive information such as Social Security numbers of private citizens.
