More news and details on the LG Nexus 5 (2015) will surface in the following weeks.

Right after Google announced its price drop on the Nexus 6 handsets, people have been speculating which company Google will partner up with to build their next Nexus gadgets.

Without naming its source, Android Pit claimed in a report that Google thought it wise to bring back LG to the Nexus fold after trying out Motorola in 2014. It is the first Nexus phablet model that features a massive display of 5.96 inches that supports Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

According to AndroidPolice, the LG is planning to power the Nexus with Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor housing ARM chipset, which it used in its flagship and will be backed up with 2700mAh battery.

According to the reports, LG’s Nexus which was codenamed Bullhead will have a 5.2-inch screen, while the Huawei phone which is codenamed Angler may come with a bigger 5.7-inch screen. Therefore, Google’s going back to LG must not come as a surprise.

The next Nexus handset is expected to come with numerous features such as fingerprint sensor, 3D dual-camera setup, Android M and more.
