Is ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Getting a Movie?
“Pretty Little Liars” season 6 will reveal what exactly happened to the Liars’ moms during and after they were locked in the basement. Unfortunately, the film is not something that will happen anytime soon.

“We’ve got a few really big ideas for a great PLL movie, but that won’t happen right after the series ends”, Marlene King spilled on Good Morning America this week. I want to let the stars go off and do their own thing after the show ends before we reunite to do something really special. Sadly, Pretty Little Liars will end after Season 7 – and, hopefully, after we get the answers to our many, many questions.
After the incredible season finale a year ago, the #PLL Army should be very excited to see their favorite series returning to primetime. This time, they must reunite in Rosewood for a trial at court.
ABC Family confirmed the premiere date for the special-event, which will air in advance of the celebrated return of the original series “Pretty Little Liars”. In addition to featuring conversations surrounding new careers and love interests, the episode will feature interviews with the team behind the Liars’ new looks. The PLL movie may be several years away, but it’s good to know that while Marlene will be closing the chapter on the TV show, she’s not locking our beloved characters away forever.
