If this is the case and Super Bowl 50 is indeed Manning’s last ever game, he will go down as one of the greatest to sling the pigskin. Two days after the team’s AFC Championship Game loss to the Denver Broncos, Belichick is already at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, scouting college prospects. Though Belichick’s comments weren’t picked up by NFL Films’ microphones, Manning’s words indicate the 39-year-old might have just one game left.

Belichick told reporters after the game he wouldn’t share what he told Manning.

If Manning wins Super Bowl 50 on February 7, he will earn the remainder of the pay cut – $2 million – back.

He missed the next seven starts but won his starting job back from Brock Osweiler on January 3 when he entered in the third quarter against San Diego and ignited a stagnant, mistake-prone offense.

The NFL says it is conducting a “comprehensive” review of allegations that Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had human growth hormone delivered to his house.

Manning led four scoring drives and the Broncos’ 27-20 win earned them the AFC’s No. 1 seed. Manning turns 40 in March, and he has battled injuries throughout the last few years, most recently a foot injury that cost him time this season.

In December, Al Jazeera reported that Manning’s wife, Ashley, received HGH from a clinic in Indianapolis, where the family lived at the time.
