Is the Secret Service subtweeting Donald Trump?
“Just before that he was saying – as you said – ‘what could happen.’ He doesn’t want that to happen”, she replied.

CBS New York ran a title that was a little more nuanced, but insulting to Trump and gun owners nonetheless.
The Secret Service – which is tasked with protecting both Mr Trump and Mrs Clinton – told USA media it was “aware” of the comments, but did not say whether they merited an investigation, which some Democratic lawmakers have said is necessary.
“For her part, Hillary Clinton’s Twitter feed offered a quote from the candidate: “‘A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way'”. The Guardian ran one titled, “Trump Hints At Assassination of Hillary Clinton by gun rights supporters” and Huffington Post ran one titled, “Elizabeth Warren Fires Back at “Pathetic Coward” Donald Trump After Assassination Suggestion”.
Seddique Mateen, an immigrant from Afghanistan, was caught on camera seated in the audience behind Clinton during her campaign appearance.
Mrs Clinton’s campaign decried Mr Trump’s “dangerous” language and demanded in a statement that presidential hopefuls “not suggest violence in any way”. “Hillary wants to take your guns away”. This includes the above remarks as well as remarks about the NRA which most of us would consider to be “Second Amendment folks”.
Last month, the Secret Service said it was investigating New Hampshire State Sen. Regardless, it is still good to know that I no longer have to feel any guilt about not supporting the Republican presidential nominee.
The Secret Service would have been immediately aware of Trump’s remarks, of course. “And she’ll do that through judges, through the justices of the Supreme Court”.
Trump’s remarks were not Tuesday’s only campaign trail scandal.
While trump talked about his idea for a child care tax write-off, he didn’t get specific about just how much families would be able to write-off under his plan, but one area family told KSFY they’ll take all the help they can get. He then added, without elaboration, that supporters of the Second Amendment could maybe figure out a way.
It was hardly surprising that critics piled on – from assassination attempt survivor and former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords to CT senator Chris Murphy, whose electorate includes the Sandy Hook school, where 20 children and six staff were massacred in 2012.
Michael D’Antonio is the author of the new book, “The Truth About Trump”.
“Don’t treat this as a political misstep”. He claims to surround himself with “the best people”, and we all can see how that’s been going.
Asked whether Trump was suggesting violence, Pence said, “of course not, no. Donald Trump is urging people around this country to act in a manner consistent with their convictions in the course of this election, and people who cherish the Second Amendment have a very clear choice in this election”.

“Hey”, hissed Twitter. “The Second Amendment is trending”. The reason I “know” this is that there is just no other way to logically interpret the statement without destroying the entire basis for conservatives to vote for him in the first place.
