Is this the End for Chip Kelly as Head Coach in Philadelphia?
Mark Sanchez had an up close and personal look at Detroit Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah, a rising force among pass-rushers in the National Football League who is joining the territory reserved for the game’s elite.

That quote seemed as though it would define his tenure, before he was caught by an NFL Films camera saying “culture will beat scheme every day” in the midst of the team’s week six win over the New York Giants in 2014. For Chip Kelly, the fall has come.
According to Yahoo Sports, the former OR head coach was brought into Philadelphia to bring his innovative, fast-paced offense to the NFL. “I don’t think anybody envisioned the last two weeks, but we are where we are”.
He coaches the team he wishes he had, not the team he has. If that fails, the team will be in the market for a quarterback again, and will start the rapid descent into becoming the NFC’s version of the Cleveland Browns. For some reason, Kelly seemed to abandon that dual-threat narrative once he joined the Eagles; Nick Foles and Sam Bradford are not capable of running like any of the quarterbacks Kelly had at Oregon. You can get away with mediocre QBs if you have a great offensive line. This will be a telling time for Chip and will give a good glimpse of how well he can deal with adversity. It gives your running backs lanes to run, which also helps the QB. “We just try to make sure we’re protecting them”.
Kelly also released former starting offensive linemen Todd Herremans and Evan Mathis this offseason, widely considered a very odd decision.
That has left the Eagles a complete mess.
The offense has talent, and Kelly’s ideas for the offense and his up-tempo approach has worked. And in the draft, he’s fared just as poorly.
A strip-sack by Ezekiel Ansah on third down, just 27 seconds after the Eagles took possession, set up a short field for another TD pass to Johnson.
While it did not affect the outcome, the Eagles scored with 3:02 left to play as Sanchez threw to Jordan Matthews for a 24-yard score. These fans care. And they deserve better than what this city is giving them right now. “We’ve allowed them too much time”. It referenced Kelly and the Eagles as the sides, if you will.
“Full effort has nothing to do with execution or how the game goes”, Jenkins said. He nearly won a national title. And, above all, he operates at a high speed. At 6-5 and 271 pounds, he ran the 40-yard dash with a best time of 4.56 seconds, did 21 reps of 225 pounds in the bench press and had a vertical jump of 34.5 inches. I thought we blocked up front better (on Thursday), I thought you could see a bit more precision in terms of our run game, tied together with our backs and getting guys to do the right thing.
Carolina led 13-3 when Kuechly and the NFL’s leading defense for takeaways put the Panthers firmly in control. As long as you make enough calculated risks, the odds of taking one that pays off begin to increase.
The remainder of the time on the field, the Eagles defense was on the field getting worn out by the Lions offense. As a result, the opposite happens. So it’s easy for a defense to key on DeMarco Murray (14 carries, 30 yards vs. the Lions) or Jordan Matthews in the slot (three catches, 60 yards).

It’s not really a secret that there is a relationship between the quarterback on a roster and a head coach’s job security.
