“I’m Jeffery for one fucking week”, he said. “If I don’t sell a 100,000 copies”.

Rapper Young Thug explained the reasoning behind his decision to change his name to “No, My Name Is Jeffery” in advance of his new project Jeffery.

In an interview on the Rap Radar podcast, Cohen made the reveal saying that it’s an “important” change in Thug’s still blossoming career.

“The reality is, when you see this commercial [for the mixtape], you’re all going to understand what we do here at 300”.
