New Newcastle United signing Isaac Hayden has been pictured in his first training session on Tyneside, just one day after arriving from Arsenal, with photographs that have appeared in the Chronicle.

Hayden has made a couple of appearances in the League Cup for Arsenal and made the bench for both Premier League and Champions League matches, without actually getting any game time.
He made 24 appearances for the Tigers last season, including 18 in the Championship as the Yorkshire outfit won promotion to the Premier League. Isaac Hayden is a versatile central defender who can also play as a full back and a defensive midfielder and the youngster also has some Championship experience under his belt.
“Newcastle is a massive football club and to be given the opportunity to come here and progress my career is fantastic”, said Hayden.
“[He is] a really good young player I would have liked, but I would like to add five or six who can go and play in the first team, that’s the most important thing for me”, Bruce added.
“He is also a player who can play in different positions, which is very useful”.
“Isaac is a young, strong English player with fantastic potential but also with some experience already of the Championship. We welcome him to the Club”.
