The offense, well, simply did not. And so it was the Auburn quarterback who was sporting a knee brace played against Georgia on Saturday.

Players may find him hard and coaches in his own building may find him insufferable, but it really doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks because the man was considered good enough to be hired by Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher and he has a national championship ring on his finger.

Perhaps more frightening is this: Georgia won three straight games at JHS once, the 1966-1968-1970 meetings. Georgia Bulldogs rank at 52 for 171.7 road rushing yards where as Auburn Tigers rank at 72 for allowing 158.6 rushing yards at home.

Kevin Phillips’ five punts traveled an average fo 39.6 yards and none landed inside the 20-yard line.

Despite trailing 10-3 at halftime, Georgia scored 17 unanswered points in the second-half highlighted by a 53-yard punt return for a touchdown with 9:28 left in the fourth quarter by Isaiah McKenzie to put the Bulldogs ahead 17-10.
