ISIS Fighters Shoot Down Syrian Warplane In Deir Al-Zor, Pilot Killed
United States airstrikes at Syrian government forces may also “threaten the agreements between Russian Federation and U.S. on Syria”, Klintsevich said. Neither type is listed as being in operation with the RAAF.

The attacks come only five days into the breakthrough ceasefire agreement orchestrated by the United States and Russian Federation with Moscow saying in a statement that they believe that the U.S. is responsible for the imminent breakdown of the agreement.
The Syrian military official said government troops had regained control of areas the terrorists captured, “as a result of the American aircraft aggression”.
The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, chastised Russian Federation for the move.
Power went on to describe Russia’s request for the urgent meeting as a “stunt, replete with moralism and grandstanding”, saying Moscow should instead demand a meeting with the Assad regime to press for peace.
Russia’s Defence Ministry said if the coalition bombing was a mistake, it was evidence of Washington’s “stubborn refusal” to co-ordinate its actions with Russia’s government.
“I would be very interested to see how Washington is going to react”, he told reporters.
The strikes “put in jeopardy everything that has been reached by the global community both within the framework of the worldwide Syria Support Group, the UN Security Council, and on bilateral basis”, said Maria Zakharova, chief spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry.
US Central Command said the strike was immediately halted “when coalition officials were informed by Russian officials that it was possible the personnel and vehicles targeted were part of the Syrian military”.
“Sixty-two Syrian soldiers were killed and a hundred others were injured in these strikes”.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based monitoring group with contacts across the country, cited a military source at the airport as saying at least 80 Syrian soldiers had been killed in the strike.
The operation was brought to an end as soon as they were warned of the presence of Syrian government forces.
Russian Federation said the United States was being obstructive and deceptive regarding the airstrike.
Washington and Moscow reached an agreement in September that calls for a ceasefire, the delivery of aid and the joint targeting of Islamist rebels in Syria.
The city’s airport and some government-held districts have been entirely surrounded by Islamic State since past year, with the airport providing the only external access.
Syrian government warplanes and special forces on Sunday destroyed several positions of the Islamic State group in the eastern province of Deir el-Zour.
The ceasefire has so far lasted five days.
