Islamic State takes responsibility for Yemen bomb; at least 60 dead
At least 45 people were killed in the attack, and 60 others were wounded, Doctors Without Borders communications manager Malak Shaher told CNN. “Witnesses said the suicide bomber entered the compound behind a truck that had brought breakfast for the conscripts, who had queued for the meal”.

A security official told AFP news agency that the attacker drove his vehicle into a gathering of new recruits at the camp in northern Aden on Monday.
More than 60 wounded were being taken to three area hospitals, Yemeni security officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.
An official said security personnel were evacuating the location.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it resembled previous suicide bombings in the city which Islamic State said it carried out.
Aden has been at the center of several attacks recently.
The agency, affiliated with the IS, claimed that the attack conducted by a jihadist fighter killed about 60 new recruits.
Hundreds of Yemeni soldiers have been trained over the past two months as the government intensifies its onslaught to recapture southern provinces from jihadists.
On Saturday, Aden’s governor Brigadier Aidarous Al Zabidi told Al Arabia TV channel that Aden was nearly free from the terrorist groups, and that government forces were going to hunt them down in Abyan and Lahj provinces.
Under the new plan, which both sides have responded positively to, the Houthi rebels must leave the Yemeni capital of Sanaa and in return, negotiations will begin on forming a new unity government.
Saudi Arabia is leading an Arab coalition that is backing the internationally recognized government of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and carrying out airstrikes against the Shiite rebels, whom it says are backed by Iran.
