JERUSALEM- Israel’s prime minister said Sunday he will “fiercely reject” any worldwide proposals meant to bring about a solution to the conflict with the Palestinians.
Netanyahu, in public remarks to his cabinet, said “international proposals they are trying to force upon us” didn’t take into account Israel’s security needs.
In a statement released on Friday evening, al-Qassam Brigades said the attack had been carried out after “continuous observation” of the area.

A string of so-called lone-wolf attacks by Palestinians, which have occasionally involved shootings, began in Jerusalem in October but have spread to the West Bank.
If executed, the move marks the first time since the nineties that Palestinian-plated buses are allowed to travel directly to Jerusalem through checkpoints, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
The framework agreement proposed by Kerry included clauses such as negotiations based on the 1967 borders with land swaps, recognition of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people, Jerusalem as the capital of both states, security arrangements for Israel in the Jordan Valley and a timetable for the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the West Bank.
