Israel handed over the bodies of 23 Palestinians Friday in an apparent bid to ease tensions, of which 14 were from the southern West Bank city.
The two Israelis are charged with being part of a terror organization.
The raids triggered multiple stabbings and attacks, killing 20 Israelis and more than 100 Palestinians.
This Saturday afternoon hundreds of people are gathering together in Hebron for the funeral of 17 Palestinians whose bodies were returned to their families yesterday by the Israeli occupation forces.
Aribe, a relative of senior Palestinian Authority official Saeb Erekat, was killed in early December while carrying out a shooting attack near Jerusalem. Ali’s 4-year-old brother Ahmad survived.
For over three months Palestinians have carried out near daily attacks on Israeli civilians and security forces.
Forces reportedly used rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas against mourners at the entrance of Beit Ummar, as well as in Bab al-Zawyeh area, shooting and injuring 12 with rubber bullets in Beit Ummar, and causing the suffocation of dozens others in both clashes. Ben-Uliel’s parents said they believe in his innocence and that he was tortured during interrogation.
“It’s clear the Israeli institutions are not serious”, he said.
Jewish extremists have for years vandalized or set fire to Palestinian property, as well as mosques, churches, the offices of dovish Israeli groups and even Israeli military bases.

A Palestinian drove his auto into Israeli forces in the northern West Bank on Thursday before being shot dead, the Israeli army said. Separately, two more Israelis were indicted for other attacks on Palestinians known as “price tag” attacks. A lawyer for one of the suspects says his client gave a forced confession after interrogators deprived him of sleep and tied him upside down by his feet.
