Israel rocked by 4 separate terror attacks, 2 killed & over 30 injured

Police said that they neutralized the attacker, but according to Time of Israel, he was not killed.

At least 16 people have been wounded and eight are in serious condition, while one person is believed to have died, Haaretz is reporting.

Rescue personnel stand near a victim who was killed in a terror attack in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Two men identified by the Maan news agency as Palestinian, one carrying a gun and the other a knife, started attacking passengers on an Egged bus in East Talpiot, killing a man in his 60s. He received CPR on the scene and was sent to Shaare Zedek Hospital. Medical units stated greater than 15 people have been injured within the attack.

In a separate attack on Malkei Israel Street in the capital, police said that a driver rammed his auto into a bus stop, got out of his vehicle and began stabbing pedestrians. The attacker was shot and seriously wounded by a security guard.

Two people were also killed in the attack that took place on a bus in the Armon Hanatziv neighbourhood of Jerusalem. He was subdued by civilians.

Hamas praised the assaults & referred to as their perpetrators “heroes” as Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat referred to as on the Israeli authorities to “immediately implement drastic measures” to make sure the security of the city’s residents as the death toll from near-daily violence climbed.

The attack took place on Malchei Yisrael Street in the strictly Orthodox Makor Baruch neighborhood.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called an emergency security cabinet meeting for Tuesday afternoon to discuss possible responses to the wave of terror attacks.
