Israeli forces have killed 93 Palestinians, some of whom were carrying out assaults and others in clashes with police and troops.
A Palestinian was shot dead by security forces, police said. The areas include districts in the city of Hebron, the district of Tulkarm and the south eastern area where Jericho will be expanded to build residential neighbourhoods for more than 20,000 Palestinians.
The PLO’s Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs (CPA) said in a statement on Saturday that this large group of civilians had been detained for varying terms, calling on the United Nations to provide protection for Palestinian people, particularly those who are languishing behind bars in Israel.
Friday’s incidents are the latest in a wave of unrest that has shaken Israel and the Palestinian territories since early October.
“We will continue to maintain contacts with the Israeli leadership to establish a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East, to share information on the anti-terrorism track”, Putin said according to the site, during a ceremony to hand out credentials to 15 new ambassadors in Russian Federation, including Israel’s. “The terrorist was shot and killed at the scene”, Israeli police spokesperson Mickey Rosenfeld said.
“Added to this opposition is an element of radical Islam that strikes worldwide – in Paris, in London, in Madrid, in Mali – where there are of course no settlements”, he added.
Al-Haq stated that, “Attacks by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank against members of the Palestinian population and their property are an extensive, long-term, and worsening phenomenon”. The military said it shut down the “Dream” radio station overnight, marking the third time Israel has closed a Hebron station it accuses of inciting violence.
