Israeli forces ‘kill two Palestinians’ during refugee camp raid
A Palestinian guy died Monday. after ramming his auto in to pedestrians at a crowded bus stop at the western entrance to Jerusalem, wounding 9, in accordance to Israeli cops officers. Palestinian camp activist Raed Hamdan identified the two as Ahmad Jahajha, a 21-year-old resident of the Qalandiya camp, and Hikmat Hamdan, 29, from the nearby town of el-Bireh.
Continuing, Pouilly noted that in the H2 area of Hebron alone, there have been 16 alleged attacks against Israelis since Oct 1, and of the 17 Palestinians involved in such incidents, 16 have been shot dead, with one injured and arrested.
In a second incident elsewhere in the camp, paramilitary Border Police shot dead the driver of another vehicle who tried to ram them, a police spokeswoman said. Four Palestinian protesters reportedly were injured by IDF gunfire, the Palestinian Maan news agency reported.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas described the events of the last three months as a “justified popular uprising” and said that young Palestinian demonstrators were “driven by despair [at the fact] that a two-state solution is not coming”.
On Tuesday, the United Nations human rights office in NY voiced deep concern over an “unacceptable” wave of Palestinians attacking Israelis, but also criticised Israeli authorities’ reported “excessive use of force” in response to the attacks.
Israeli leaders have accused Abbas and other Palestinian leaders of inciting the violence with incendiary rhetoric.
Palestinians are angry at growing violence by Israeli settlers at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound and their attacks on Palestinian properties, saying Israel seeks to change the status quo of the compound.

Pouilly warned that although global attention appeared to be waning, “the level of killings, injuries and arrests has continued, with an average of one person dying every day”.
