Israeli gets life for killing Palestinian

The Jerusalem District Court on Tuesday sentenced Yosef Haim Ben-David, who organised the killing of 16-year-old Mohammed Abu Khudair, to life, with an additional 20 years for other counts to be served consecutively.

The prosecution also argued that Ben-David pressured the two minors to participate in the kidnapping and murder of Mohammad Abu Khdeir in July 2014. “I ask forgiveness of the family for all that happened”.

Ben-David was convicted last month of kidnapping and murdering Abu Khdeir.
