Israeli leader set to meet Clinton and Trump

“One thing I would never negotiate is our right to the one, only Jewish state”, Netanyahu said to some sustained applause.
“The road to peace runs through Jerusalem and Ramallah, not through New York”, Netanyahu added.
Netanyahu said that in return he would like to address the Palestinian Legislative Council.
That Abbas still attacks a century-old document harkens back to the Palestinians’ continued refusal to recognize the historical and moral rights of Jews to live autonomously in their homeland, which were recognized by the United Nations when it supported the establishment of a Jewish state in 1947.
Britain should apologize for its 1917 declaration endorsing the founding of a Jewish homeland in Palestine and should recognize Palestine as a state, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said on Thursday.
The central issues to be resolved in the conflict include borders, the future of Jewish settlements in the West Bank, which most nations regard as illegal, the fate of Palestinian refugees and the status of Jerusalem.
In the press briefing, Netanyahu said that he and Kerry speak every other day and sometimes every day by phone, to which Kerry responded that he didn’t think “any secretary of state in history has talked with the prime minister of Israel as many times, as frequently, or visited as frequently as I have”. He’s also accused leaders in the West Bank and Gaza of inciting violence amid an uptick in Palestinian attacks against Israeli citizens. For the Israelis, this means a halt to settlement construction on territory claimed by the Palestinians. “This is child abuse”, Netanyahu said. “Even well intentioned initiatives at the United Nations risk locking the parties into positions that will make it more hard to return to the negotiating table and make the compromises necessary for peace”.
Abbas, who is also the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), said the Palestinians have accepted the primacy and judgment of global legitimacy, and made a historic and vast sacrifice, when the PLO – the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people – accepted to establish the State of Palestine within the pre-June, 1967, borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. Iran promises to destroy Israel while actively destabilizing other countries in the Middle East, sponsoring terrorist groups, and testing ballistic missiles, in defiance of UN Security Council resolutions.
“Year after year, I’ve stood at this very podium and slammed the United Nations for its obsessive bias against Israel and the United Nations deserved every scathing word”, Netanyahu said.

She said: “What we see in Pakistan is a terrorist state, which channelizes billions of dollars, much of it diverted from worldwide aid, to training, financing and supporting terrorist groups as militant proxies against it neighbors”.
