In a separate case on Monday, two Palestinians and a third wounded when they opened fire on Israeli troops who had arrived to destroy the home of a terrorist from an earlier attack. Palestinian attacks, mainly stabbings, have killed 14 Israelis, and at least 83 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire, including 53 Israel says were involved in assaults.

The latest killings come amid a wave of Israeli-Palestinian violence in the last two months.

Israeli soldiers shot and killed Laith Assad Munasra, 21, and Ahmad Abu al-Aish, 28, as clashes broke out following a raid involving hundreds of Israeli forces in the densely populated refugee camp.

“In addition, hundreds of Palestinians attacked the force, hurling fire bombs, IEDs and rocks”.

Three Israelis in the second auto were lightly hurt.

Amid the unrest, Israel recently renewed a policy of demolishing homes belonging to Palestinians accused in deadly attacks.

Almost 90 Palestinians have been killed in the recent escalation of violence since the start of October.

Israel argues that the demolition policy is effective, but critics say the main victims are relatives forced to pay for another person’s actions.

According to a military spokesman, the home tore down belonged to Muhammad Abu Shaheen, who last June murdered in cold blood an Israeli during an excursion in the West Bank.

In a statement issued Saturday night about the Paris terrorism of the previous day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he had “instructed Israel’s security and intelligence forces to assist their French counterparts and their counterparts from other European countries in any way possible”. Israeli security forces said his father and brother turned him in, fearing that their home would be razed.
