The body of the teenaager was found burned in the forest.

During the attack, Ben David called out the names of Israelis murdered by Palestinians, including the three Israeli teenagers – Naftali Fraenkel and Gilad Shaar, both aged 16, and 19-year-old Eyal Yifrach – earlier abducted and killed in the occupied West Bank.

Even though the identities of the two teenagers that helped Ben-David have not been revealed one of them was sentenced to life in prison.

Also on Tuesday police said they had arrested a Palestinian teenager in Jerusalem’s Old City suspected of stabbing a Jewish man there late on Monday. Abu Khdeir’s death sparked weeks of angry protests by Palestinians.

Abu Khdeir’s father Hussein, speaking before yesterday’s verdict, said no punishment would be enough.

In November 2015, Ben-David’s lawyers submitted a last minute petition to delay his sentence on grounds of insanity.

Abu Yousef said the meeting will look into means to respond to Israel’s “violation” into area A in the West Bank that are under Palestinian control.

Israeli authorities said the three made a decision to kill an Arab and equipped themselves with cables, petrol and other materials before choosing Abu Khdeir at random.

“I always considered the human image and respect for the dead to be holy”, Ben-David said.

A Palestinian young man was shot and killed Tuesday evening by Israeli gunfire after he allegedly rammed his auto into a group of Israeli soldiers near the illegal settlement of Dolev in Ramallah, injuring three of them.

The World Weekly covered Mr. Ben-David’s conviction last month.

In its first review of Israel since 2009, the United Nations committee against torture questioned an Israeli delegation over multiple reports of potentially illegal conduct by security agents, especially with respect to Palestinian prisoners. After receiving psychological assessments, the court ruled that he had been fit to stand trial.

An Israeli spokesperson said, “He was a member of a Hamas-affiliated terror cell that planned and executed the terror attack on October 1, killing Eitam and Naama Henkin”.

The PLO official also said the executive committee will discuss Israel’s declared opposition to the French initiative to hold an global peace conference to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
