Israelis kill two Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank
Two Palestinians went on a stabbing spree along a popular walkway in Jerusalem on Wednesday, killing one person, and were then shot dead by Israeli security forces in what police described as a terrorist attack.

In other locations in the West Bank, another Palestinian was shot dead while trying to stab a soldier with a screwdriver, and a third after injuring a soldier in a car-ramming, the army said.
Police spokeswoman Luba Samri says the policemen approached a man who drew their suspicions just outside the Old City for following a pair of Jewish worshippers.
Police say three Israelis were seriously injured in the incident Wednesday, including one who later died from his wounds and another who died from a wound apparently from police gunfire aimed at subduing the attackers.
Israeli authorities said that three Palestinians were killed after they carried out or attempted to carry out attacks against Israelis across the West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), 85 percent of the Palestinians who were killed by Israeli troops since the beginning of violence were “extra-judicially executed”.
Israeli settlers have intensified violence against Palestinians and their properties.

On Friday a Palestinian driver attempted to crash her auto into a group of Israeli soldiers in the West Bank.
The security forces fired stun and smoke grenades toward the demonstrators. Among them, they said, were underage people holding military weapons.
The video, which police are now investigating, sparked outrage among Israeli legislators, many of whom said it showed Israel was failing to rein in extremism.
Israel says the violence is fanned by a Palestinian campaign of lies and incitement.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, the Israeli military said a Palestinian motorist rammed his vehicle into a checkpoint on Saturday and lightly wounded a soldier stationed there.
