It begins: Here’s how you can vote early in Minnesota

The deadline to register is October 11, so make sure your application is submitted on time. For the first time in a presidential election, Minnesota voters who want to cast an early ballot don’t need to provide an excuse for why they can’t make it to the polls on Election Day. Election day is November 11, and please remember an informed citizen is a productive citizen.

Acceptable documents include a valid Idaho driver’s license or photo I.D. card with an address in the county you are attempting to vote in or any document containing a valid address that shows your name along with photo identification. This will allow you to sign an affidavit stating you had an impediment to obtaining a Photo ID.

“You always hear about the oversees vote. and whether it’s going smoothly”, Jillson said.

The League of Women Voters of Scarsdale is a volunteer nonpartisan organization that promotes political responsibility through informed and active participation. Ballots for the other voters will be mailed on October 12. You don’t need to bring an ID.

There will be voting assistance officers set up at tables throughout the installation to help out during the week. Then on Tuesday, Sept. 27th, the League of Women Voters will staff a voter-registration booth from 9am.to 5pm. between the Comal County Courthouse and the Landa Building (199 Main Plaza) in New Braunfels.
