Calling on his side to create a winning habit, India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli has admitted that they are looking forward to a series whitewash against West Indies after claiming an emphatic win by an innings and 92 runs against the hosts in the first Test here at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium last evening. “It is about the knack of getting wickets and it is good that we shared wickets today”, he added. “If you think we are going to keep learning every series, learning every game, we will never get that hunger and that mindset to win games from hard situations”.

We had 20 to 30-run partnerships, but we weren’t able to convert them to bigger partnerships like India had when they batted and that is something we have to get better at.

They fared poorly in the first innings with Shami and Yadav picking four wickets a piece and bowling with a lot of venom. He had not picked up any wickets in the first innings. He also told me to slow down a little at the crease. “We are very happy all round”, said Kohli.
