Samsung (PINK:SSNLF) will launch its latest flagship smartphones – the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge – later this week.

T-Mobile rolled out a similar BOGO offer for the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge plus, Note5 and other premium smartphones in January, while AT&T followed suit in February.

India is an important market for handset makers as it is witnessing strong sales growth rate at a time when global sales are waning.

Several Android smartphones have received Android 6.0 in the last week and the latest to get the most current Google software is the Samsung Galaxy S6 from Sprint.

The devices are set to go on general sale in the United Kingdom and other markets on March 11, available in three colour schemes and costing £569 and £639 for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge respectively.

Just like it happens with the AT&T BOGO deal, there are some requirements you need to meet in order to get your free Galaxy S7 from T-Mobile.

Watch the clip below for more details on the improvements brought by Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

Both the Galaxy S7 and 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 edge are constructed with 3D glass and metal – all in a sleek design with durability and ergonomic curves for a comfortable grip.

“We have announced seven new innovations on our flagship devices”. It is powered by a 64-bit Exynos 8890 Octa-core (2.3GHz Quad-core + 1.6 GHz Quad-core) Processor with 4GB RAM. As each and every pixel of the Dual Pixel image sensor is capable of detecting phase differences of perceived light, a significantly-faster auto-focus has become possible.

The phones have Dual Pixel 12-megapixel (F1.7) rear and 5-megapixel (F1.7) cameras and with brighter lens with wider aperture and bigger pixel, the cameras have a more accurate autofocus even in low-light conditions.

GSM Arena notes that the Galaxy S7 sports a 5.1-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD Super AMOLED display. Here are five major features found in Galaxy S7 that are not on the iPhone.

The camera on the Galaxy S7 also provides a better focus. The smartphone comes in black onyx, gold platinum and silver titanium colour variants.
