It’s looking like a Clinton-Trump race

On Sunday, Trump denied any role he may have played in taking down Bush, who ended his campaign on Saturday night after a fourth-place finish in SC.

RedState was quick to point out that Trump has less than 5% of the delegates he needs to win the party’s presidential nomination, with managing editor Leon H. Wolf reminding readers it ain’t over ’til it’s over.

The Democrats next compete Saturday in SC after Hillary Clinton blunted concerns about her viability with a clear victory over Bernie Sanders in Nevada, the first state to test the Democrats’ appeal among a racially diverse group of voters. If his name were anything other than “Donald Trump”, the party’s leaders would be penciling him in for the final speaking spot at their convention in Cleveland.

He added: “You want to know something?”

“To be going ahead to Nevada, we will see what happens”. Particularly as this consolidates, as I’ve said there’s a pre-consolidation race when everyone was in but there’s a post-consolidation race when everybody was in.

In his concession speech on Saturday, he insisted that Nevada, like New Hampshire, was a success given how much he had closed a large gap on Clinton and insisted the momentum was still with him.

“I want to begin by thanking the people of SC”. The Florida senator’s campaign slammed Cruz after they photoshopped a photo of Rubio and Obama shaking hands.

In another significant development, the Republican presidential pack shrank to five as Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush said he is suspending his campaign after a poor showing in SC.

“Obviously, I have ties to Las Vegas that run deep, given my time growing up here”, Rubio said.

Cruz worked to turn out the state’s sizable bloc of evangelical voters, while Rubio hoped to get a late boost from Gov. Nikki Haley’s endorsement. “Rubio can’t beat Trump in Florida, while we will beat him in OH”.

Cruz told reporters Monday he has asked his campaign spokesman, Rick Tyler, to resign for tweeting a story that falsely alleged Rubio insulted the Bible.

Trump lashed out at Cruz over Twitter on Monday, saying that Cruz “has now apologized to Marco Rubio and Ben Carson for fraud and dirty tricks”.

In a bold move to draw support from anti-government voters and distinguish himself from Trump, Cruz has released TV ads touting his plan for the federal government to return the 85 percent of Nevada’s land that it owns to the state.
