The Sixers have a great opportunity to fill Philadelphia’s gaping sports void, to not only reward long-suffering fans who were loyal to the the team throughout the tenure of former general manager Sam Hinkie and what he called “The Process”, but to bring new fans onboard as well.
The odds were against the Lakers keeping their 2017 first-round pick, let alone landing the No. 2 overall selection, yet the basketball gods smiled upon Los Angeles.
There is a chance that none of those second rounders even make the roster, but the front office has made sure that Stevens will have more quality shooting to try and use this off season.

Fultz also showed that he can play off the ball and create his own shot. Fultz led the Pac-12 in scoring, finished No. 6 among all Division I players, and was the top freshman scorer in the country. Brooklyn picked Jarrett Allen out of Texas at No. 22, Toronto picked IN forward OG Anunoby with the 23rd pick and Utah picked Syracuse’s Tyler Lydon at No. 24 though he was traded to Denver.
