It’s ugly, baby, but NFC East champ won’t care come playoffs

Tensions are high for both teams trying to win the down NFC East division, but resulting to physically harming a fan of a rival team with a knife is unsettling to say the least.

With four games left to play for each team, the race – or crawl – to the finish line will certainly be competitive, if not enthralling.

Defensive Backs: Overall, the defensive backs played relatively well, but they did give up a few more plays down the field than in the past several games.

As much as the 2015 NFC East feels like the worst division in the history of mankind, awful divisions have been commonplace.

Ed Werder of ESPN reports that the Cowboys have “no doubt” that Romo would risk fracturing the collarbone for the third time this year, if/when he’s cleared to return to action. Over the last 1:47 of the game, Rich Bisaccia’s special teamers recovered a fumbled punt, returned a kickoff 46-yard, and kicked a 54-yard, game-winning field goal.

Washington had won its past five home games, but this loss continued a pattern: The Redskins have not won in consecutive weeks all season.

The Giants keep giving away fourth-quarter leads with questionable decisions in game management by coach Tom Coughlin. “It’s great to have him – a veteran guy who has been through a lot of things in his career, but he’s also a guy that obviously can back it up with good, solid play and good work ethic”. Whether if it’s the refs not knowing if Dez Bryant made a catch or not, or if Aaron Rodgers really had his face mask pulled, what we do know is that we’re all still on a wild roller coaster ride of season with four regular season weeks/games left.

However, their Monday night contest with the Dallas Cowboys could have been a coming out party for a team that after so long was in need of a big-time performance in front of national audience.

So now the NFC East is the target of tweets like the one Monday that laid out a scenario of a four-way tie among 6-10 teams. If Dallas would have lost last night, they would have been eliminated from playoff contention. It was the first time this season a quarterback other than Romo won a game for the Cowboys. “I know this doesn’t sound right, but we’re better than our record, way better”. That’s just not Giants football. For most of the game he looked very uncomfortable in the pocket and missed many makeable throws.
