It’s ‘Zelda,’ and only ‘Zelda,’ at go-its-own-way Nintendo’s booth

The Nintendo Treehouse livestream might not have done anything major other than revealing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and this rather interesting new ARPG called Ever Oasis, but someone has managed to get a word out of the officials regarding the official Nintendo NX reveal plans! “Miyamoto is God. So even when I say, hey, this is what I think should be done, they’ll always question: ‘Well, what would Miyamoto say?’ Up until about two years ago, Miyamoto actually had a lot of comments and advice about Breath of the Wild”.

Most big video game publishers split their space at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) among a handful of their most-anticipated games. If you decide you want to ignore questing for awhile and just want to travel around collecting mushroom, you can! However, players can sidestep this by switching between them.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is due to launch simultaneously on Wii U and NX in 2017.

This means that if gamers want to, they can go straight to the final boss right from the get-go.

Nintendo’s constant coverage of the game and the gamble it took to focus on it has clearly paid off for at least this week.

And players may not have to wait too long to see it. Believe it or not, the Zelda timeline is something that fans of the series take very seriously, even though most of the games seem to be standalone unless further stated. Of course, Nintendo is selling The Legend of Zelda, the latest from one of the most beloved franchises of all time, but that shouldn’t entirely account for this huge of a disparity in research firm Brandwatch’s data.
