Ivanka Trump mixes business with politics at Republican convention
When Trump was hunting for a VP pick, his people reportedly offered Ohio Gov. John Kasich the job along with unprecedented power over domestic and foreign policy – effectively making him the most powerful VP in history if he’d said yes. But I don’t want his endorsement!

“If he gives it, I will not accept it!”
Trump’s tirade came after Cruz snubbed him in a prime-time speech at the Republican National Convention, withholding his endorsement and later telling delegates he wasn’t inclined to support the nominee after the billionaire’s attacks on Cruz’s family. What difference does it make. Are you allowed to set up a Super PAC, Mike, if you are the president, to fight somebody?
After calling the 2016 Republican National Convention “perversely flattering”, Clinton said “Ted Cruz was right” what he in his speech Wednesday night in Cleveland.
So he took his speech – and you’re bound by that speech, just like you’re bound by the pledge.
Trump on Friday said that’s okay, he wouldn’t accept Cruz’s endorsement anyway.
Introducing her father Donald J. Trump before he accepted the Republican party’s nomination for the presidency, Ivanka Trump – mainstay alongside her father on the campaign trail, owner, and CEO of a namesake fashion line, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, and co-star of her father’s reality show The Apprentice – not only gave arguably the best speech of the entire Republican convention, but did so while also subtly promoting her own business. “Even Americans who dislike Trump find themselves nodding along at some of the things he says – they get the feeling that he’s their id, the fellow who will say the things they wish they could”.
Trump ran the gauntlet of red meat populism, promising everything from law and order to expansive health care for veterans to higher wages to more child care benefits to isolationism. All she has to do next week is say: “Unlike my opponent, I don’t think America is a awful place”.
“We are going to defeat the barbarians of ISIS and we’re going to defeat them fast”.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus spoke at the event, applauded traditional Republican values and called for party unity by saying “let’s stand united as Republicans, let’s get to work to expand our Republican majorities”. “It wasn’t that easy”, he said.
“I have joined the political arena so that the powerful can no longer beat up on people that cannot defend themselves”.
Conventions present an opening for the rival party to counter-message and score political and fundraising points off of what’s said and done at their competitors’ confab. Ted Cruz, he said Friday.
Sandford explained his personal dilemma this way: “You know if you’ve spent your life working on debt, deficit and government spending, and you have someone who says we’re not going to touch entitlements, you don’t know how quite how you get there”. He followed the compliment by adding that Cruz has “good intellect, but he doesn’t know how to use it”.
New Mexico Rep. Steve Pearce suggested that Trump ended the convention having accomplished his goal of unifying the party.
The Massachusetts Democrat says “I think if it were me, I would know it by now”. It was on the teleprompter, said hello, then made a statement that wasn’t on the speech and then went back to his speech. “It’s something that can be done, I think, very easily by a company”. All I did was was I pointed out the fact that on the cover of the National Enquirer there was a picture of him and insane Lee Harvey Oswald having breakfast.

“I saw my father tear stories out of the newspaper, about people he never met, who were facing some sort of injustice or hardship”, Ivanka said.
