Ivanka Trump’s role in her father’s presidential campaign has primarily emerged as the reassuring voice to women that Trump cares about women and their problems.
“At my father’s company, there are more female than male executives, women are paid equally for the work that we do, and when a woman becomes a mother she is supported, not shut out”, she said, according to Time.
Ivanka Trump, 34, looks unbelievable in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, radiating in a Carolina Herrera gown as it gingerly drapes off her shoulders, her blonde hair perfectly styled in a pristine blowout as she’s perched on a ladder with the NYC skyline behind her.
“My role is daughter”, she says in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “He will fight for equal pay for equal work and I will fight for this too, right alongside of him”, she said. “In half the country, the cost of child care exceeds the cost of housing. It’s not sustainable or appropriate”. “I’m not running for public office, and neither is she, so of course we’re still friends”.

“Well, obviously, I’m a huge advocate for women and women’s issues”, she told the magazine. “But to know you’re returning to a company that doesn’t value your choice to be a mother makes it harder”. She’s very popular, she’s done very well.
On if she would ever go into politics: “I made the mistake of once saying, ‘Never say never.’ I do believe that in life there are so many things I’m doing today that I never thought I’d be doing, so I generally take that perspective”.

But, as the Post uncovered, the G-III Apparel Group, a brand licensing partner not run by Trump herself, but is contracted by the Ivanka Trump Brand to design and distribute her apparel line, offers no paid maternity leave for new parents, according to “past and current employees” who spoke to the Post. “I think there’s something unique, in that we’re colleagues”.
