So seems to be the case for Ivanka Trump and Wendi Murdoch, who traveled to the city of Dubrovnik, Croatia, together over the weekend, taking in the sights and posing for a requisite vacay Instagram.
The gal pals” latest friendship “gram in Eastern Europe has only served to intensify the Murdoch/Putin rumors, especially given Putin’s vocal support of Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race.
Trump gushed about her friend in a profile Vogue wrote on Deng Murdoch last month, calling her a “whirlwind”.
Amid reports that Paul Manafort, head of Donald Trump’s campaign, has financial ties to a pro-Russian political party in Ukraine, Trump’s daughter and close adviser, Ivanka, has taken a break in campaigning to vacation in Croatia.
Ivanka Trump and Wendi Deng Murdoch are known to be friends, but the optics of the photo could raise further questions about the relationship between Ivanka’s father and Putin.
After Trump and Kushner broke up over their religious differences (Kushner is Jewish and Trump was Presbyterian at the time), Deng called Kushner (publisher of The New York Observer) and said, “You’re working so hard”.

“Everything she has is available to her friends, which, believe me, is not common”, Trump told Vogue when asked about Ivanka’s friendship with Wendi, who often plays matchmaker.
