Ivanka was the family member to introduce the billionaire businessman as he launched his presidential bid from Trump Tower in Manhattan.
“He’s totally left it up to me”, Ivanka said in an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America this week on her father’s involvement with her speech. She said, “I have seen him fight for his employees”.
“This is pretty novel, other than her father trying to sell Trump Steaks himself in his prior television appearance”, said Robert Kelner, a partner at the law firm Covington & Burling. “Being a young woman working in the startup space, these are qualities I admire in her”, Wuller said. “I wrote them down and later included some of the phrasing in the draft that ultimately became the final speech”, she wrote in a letter, via NBC.
“(He would) nearly undermine my thought process about coming into the family business, because he wanted to make sure that I knew that it wasn’t an expectation of his”, she told Borger.
At least one person at the Republican National Convention is ready to see the first female president of the United States.
By just one glance at Trump Jr.’s Instagram account, you can tell he loves being a father. “Judge his competency by the towers he’s built, the companies he’s founded and the tens of thousands of jobs he’s created”, she said.
Ivanka Trump’s turn on the stage was the most high-profile speaking slot of the Trump family this week.
Still, she recognizes just how polarizing her father can be.
Trump has faced near-constant criticism for statements he has made about women and minorities. While Trump family values may not be particularly honorable, they are perversely traditional.
“For more than a year, Donald Trump has been the people’s champion”, she said.
For me, seeing the Trump family together is like seeing a photo of the Kennedy clan (I know this will inflame many Democrats), playing football on the lawn in Hyannis Port, and the images of “All for one and one for all!” She reportedly urged her father to adopt a more presidential style and took exception to ugly nicknames he gave opponents. Bob Corker quipped as he took his own name out of contention for Trump’s vice president.

Thanks to her arrangement with G-iii, most of Ivanka’s clothing line is manufactured outside the U.S. In March, an economist found that, “Of the 838 Ivanka products advertised through the site, none appear to be made exclusively in the U.S.; 628 are said to be imported and 354 made specifically in China”.
