Ivanka Trump Wears $138 Sheath Dress to Introduce Father
As Democrats prepare to meet in Philadelphia Monday to nominate Hillary Clinton for president, it presents them with the challenge of addressing the fears Mr. Trump is seeking to exploit but also the opportunity to provide the kind of hopeful vision Americans have always craved in their leaders. During his speech, Cruz failed to even mention Trump by name.

“When you have my father in your corner, you will never again have to worry about being let down”, Ivanka Trump told the American people in her speech.
“Our convention occurs at a moment of crisis for our nation”, he said, employing the language of a war-time candidate.
Donald Trump, GOP presidential nomination in hand, is re-litigating a pair of primary flaps he had with former rival Ted Cruz. “I have a message for all of you: the crime and violence that today afflicts our nation will soon come to an end”.
The rally at the Florida State Fairgrounds, part of a two-day swing through the crucial battleground state, offered voters Clinton’s first full rebuttal to this week’s convention in Cleveland, where chants of “Lock Her Up!” were commonplace.
In the four-day event, anti-Trump factions in the party tried to push through a roll call vote to change convention rules, which would allow some of the delegates who had voted for Trump to recast their votes to other candidates.
Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto says that he will not get involved in the American electoral process but he’s looking forward to a “frank, open dialogue” with whomever is elected.
And if anything, Trump’s speech is actually more terrific, fabulous and huge than those of previous fanatics, since he promises he’s going to fix everything overnight. So they gave it. They came to me. Ivanka claimed that her father “will fight for equal pay for equal work”, and asserted that he will make childcare “affordable and accessible for all”, despite a bevy of contrary remarks he’s made in the past.
However, before we leave the convention, there was an interesting development Friday morning in Trump land. But in a nod to a broader swath of Americans, he said young people in predominantly black cities “have as much of a right to live out their dreams as any other child in America”. He went on, “I don’t like Hillary Clinton”.
The Texas senator refused to endorse Trump in a Wednesday night speech, drawing boos from the convention crowd.
In Trump’s alternative universe, global affairs, our allies, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation – whatever he doesn’t understand, is really just a business transactional arrangement. “I have joined the political arena so that the powerful can no longer beat up on people who cannot defend themselves”, he said.
Trump also said Friday that Ted Cruz never verified that that the photo didn’t depict his father.
“There was a picture on the front page of the National Enquirer, which does have credibility”, Trump said, falsely contending the magazine is careful not to run false reports because they could be sued.

“I have seen this man up close”. Hillary Clinton is set to snatch attention from Republicans by naming her running mate in advance of the Democratic convention, with Virginia Sen. Underscoring his unorthodox candidacy, Trump doubled down on the hard-line immigration policies that fired up conservatives in the primary but broke with many in his party by promising protections for gays and lesbians.
