Izzy Stradlin blames money for missing Guns N’ Roses reunion
Last week, Axl Rose explained why Izzy Stradlin was not part of the Guns N’ Roses reunion tour, saying the guitarist was simply not the kind of man to be pinned down. With Izzy, it’s something I can’t really describe.

Earlier this week, we-and the rest of the world-shared a video featuring a July interview with Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose and Duff McKagan.
“I don’t even know what to say”, Axl responded. You could have a conversation and think it’s one way, then the next day, it’s another way. In response to a recent Brazilian interview Axl Rose took part in, Stradlin called “bulls-t” and claimed Guns N’ Roses didn’t want to split their earnings equally with him. “It’s just, his thing’s his thing, whatever that is”. “Simple as that. Moving right along…” he tweeted.
Rose is now on tour with AC/DC, with their Rock or Bust world tour concluding on 20 September (16). “With Izzy, you never know what to expect”.
Stradlin, however, says the truth is much different – that Rose wasn’t prepared to give his bandmates an equitable share. At the same time I have no idea, when this started Steven had just had back surgery.

Since Stradlin’s departure from Guns N’ Roses in 1991, the musician has remained rather quiet, though he’s managed to release a total of 11 solo albums. In 1993 he played five shows as fill-in when guitarist Gilby Clarke broke his wrist and he joined the band for a European tour in 2006 and played five shows with them 2012.
