J.K. Rowling Says Harry Potter’s Story Is ‘Done Now’
Rowling also expressed her admiration for the “Harry Potter” fanbase who did not spoil the story of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” ahead of the book release, BBC reported. Speaking at the opening gala of Harry Potter And The Cursed Child in the West End, the author said finally agreeing to go ahead with a stage show had been a “daunting” prospect. (Cursed Child is split into two parts.) “This is the next generation, you know”.

Throngs of fans packed bookstores across London for the midnight release of the latest, and apparently last, Harry Potter book. The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to the fans of “Harry Potter”, but Newt’s story will start in NY, seventy years before Harry’s gets underway.
The book is not a novel and isn’t even written by Rowling. “Until then, if you hear anything about where we’re going, when we’re going or how we’re going, it’s not true”. “We might have down to Target and see if they have it but I just want to read it”, says Harry Potter fan Lacey Sisson.
So that’s that… it’s all over for Harry Potter.
It’s a pretty big weekend in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The two-part play, whose secrets have been heavily guarded by fans who have seen the preview performances, opened in London on the 30th. The play will be running until at least December 2017.
The story itself is set 19-years after the final novel, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, and tells the story of Harry as an adult, and his relationship with his 3 children.

And then there’s the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” spinoff film, based on a companion book Rowling wrote in 2001.
