Iraq PM – 2016 Will Be The Year Of Victory Over ISIL
ISIS forces took control of Fallujah at the beginning of 2014 and formally seized control of Ramadi in May of this year. Distrust of the Shiite-led government runs deep in the sprawling Anbar province, which is overwhelmingly Sunni.

Perhaps it’s fitting that an interception by Sojourn Shelton – the first for a Badgers cornerback since 2013 – was the most crucial play in Wisconsin’s 23-21 victory. If the Trojan defense can cause a few Badger turnovers by forcing Stave into bad throws, USC can win this game by a couple scores. No other team managed more than 24 points against them, and only 3 got 21 or more. Point being that while UW’s defensive numbers look strong there probably isn’t much of any gap between these two squads and USC’s strength was stopping the run (3.98 ypc allowed) which matches up well against a Wisconsin squad that isn’t much of a threat through the air. A six-yard Corey Clement run with 8:56 left in the first half gave Wisconsin a 10-0 lead. Joel Stave threw a 4-yard scoring pass to tight end Austin Traylor for a 20-7 lead midway through the third quarter. Kirk and Josh Reynolds carried the vast majority of the Aggies’ passing game, combining to catch 21 passes for 261 yards and one touchdown. On the season, Smith-Schuster has 1,389 yards and 10 touchdowns and his clearly not only USC’s best player but Smith could very well be in contention for best receiver in the country next season. Schuster just missed catching a deep ball in the final moments that could have set up a USC field goal attempt deep in Wisconsin’s red zone.

Wisconsin can win this game if they are able to control the clock and run their offense without being in a hurry. USC is 8-5 while Wisconsin is 9-3.

MSU’s Cook falls flat in Cotton replay, with higher stakes
Spartans quarterback Connor Cook passed for 210 yards and had two interceptions as Michigan State’s season ends at 12-2. Their next touchdown came on another pass, this one a 50-yarder from Coker to Ridley, putting Alabama up 31-0.

“It’s not on them, it’s on me as a coach”, he said in the post-game press conference. “When you think of college football, you think of USC, so that’s who you grow up watching”.

Story of the game: Wisconsin defensive coordinator Dave Aranda got a lot of face time during the broadcast, and you’ll continue to hear his name as the next hot defensive coordinator now that Kirby Smart, D.J. Durkin and Chris Ash have taken head coaching positions at Power Five schools.

Kessler, the redshirt senior whose final game as a Trojan did not go to according to plan, concurred that the future is promising under Helton.

The Holiday Bowl could become a distraction if the Trojans lose to Wisconsin.

The USC defense is aggressive and could cause major issues with a shaky Badger offensive line that is starting 3 freshman. Stave was 18 of 27 for 217 yards.

Gaglianone also had field goals of 38 and 33 yards. That had Wisconsin up 10-0, but USC wasn’t going away.

Trojans quarterback Cody Kessler completed 18 of 32 passes for 221 yards with a touchdown and an interception on what proved to be a shaky night for USC’s offense from start to finish. The Badgers’ three losses this year-to Alabama in the opener, Iowa by four points in early October and Northwestern at home-felt increasingly sour for Badgers fans.

Cichy recorded three sacks in one half, on back-to-back-to-back plays in the third quarter against the Trojans.

Wisconsin took the lead with just 2:27 left on yet another Gaglianone field goal, setting up one last chance for Kessler. (35 receptions, 308 yards and four touchdowns) and Darreus Rogers (26 receptions and 264 yards).
